Studio News

I have invested in a new bit of kit which allows me to pressure laminate images with different UV and abrasive protective coatings. This means that I can now provide a range of printing products without the need for glass, orders for block prints have already been made and I think this modern style of displaying portraits will be very popular.

Snow

The snow fell very heavily the night before last and it appears that some birds seem to be hiding from the cold climate whilst others seem to be more visible. The parakeets in particular are more active on the bird feeders. There are large numbers of these in our area they used to roost in poplar trees at Esher Rugby ground until the trees became unsafe this was addressed and the roosting site was no more. I have been taking photographs of the sun rise on Molesey Heath this morning and noticed large numbers of parakeets leaving their roosts here (under one mile from the rugby ground that used to be home) so they still seem to be roosting in large numbers but the roost site seems to change.
The photographic studio has been quiet this week with the inclamdesant weather, but this gives me the opportunity to catch up on orders and send some of my "snow" photographs to the local papers.
